I am an investor. Which means I love money 😉
Here, I said something that very few women happen to say out loud.
My love is not abstract though. I appreciate money for what it actually buys: the freedom to make my own calls, travel, provide good education for my son, support for my family.
I strongly believe that it’s worth talking about plainly, which is what I try to do with Your Money, Your AI: what I'm actually doing with my own money and with AI, what is genuinely working, what did not go as planned, and what I'm still figuring out as I go.
I've spent my career on the numbers side of things - over a decade at Expedia Group, then leading biz dev function at Meta, and now running my own startup consultancy, working with an AI venture funds, and investing both as VC and angel investor.
Along the way I was almost always one of the few women in the room.
